Connection to the Internet

Does anyone have any suggestions or advise on the following;

what would be a better way to connect to the Internet; a single 6mb connection from one provider or two IMA connections at 3mb each to individual carriers? Obviously there is something to be said about being multi-homed, but is a 3mb pipe too little bandwidth to effectively load balance outbound and inbound traffic when running BGP?

Why would running BGP be a problem? See http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/105/46.html and http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/459/25.shtml . As for what's best, a 6mb or a 2x3mb path, that's up to the corporate heads to make a decision on redundancy.
