My SysLog report in CW2000 is full of messages from a router (C2500). They all says:
%SYS-#-CPUHOG: Task ran for xxxx msec (x/x), Process = IP Input, PC = 31663F0
I suppose there is a problem with my router, but what is it?

I had a similar error, associated with a SNMP querry against a 2500 series router. Basically a process on a router is taking to long to run, the router automatically check for process that run longer then xx amount of msec. and automatically kills them. Then produces this syslog entry.

Is this particular 2500 present in the RME Inventory and being polled by RME?. Also what IOS version is this router running?. I've seen in the past some issues similar to this where polling of certain MIB objects on the 2500 by RME caused these errors.
