I have a Cisco 2921 Router which i am using it as a SRST router in my network. And also I have a configuration management system which we backup all the cisco device configurations. Now I need to create a user with the privilege only to view. I have done following config to create a user and grand access,
username User privilege 14 password 7 15220A1F173D7B362C62
privilege exec level 14 show startup-config
privilege exec level 14 show running-config view full
privilege exec level 14 show running-config view
privilege exec level 14 show running-config
privilege exec level 14 show
when i login to the router as a "User" and execute show running-config view full command i see nothing. I cannot see the running config. Anybody have better way to do this?

Hi, please add the following commands and try again:
privilege exec all level 14 show running-config
file privilege 14
I hope this helps!
