Hi, We have cdone, campus manager and RME installed on the same windows2000 sp2 machine.
When trying to synch devices to or from essentials the synch is failing, if i look at the status log it contains the following:
2003/02/24 09:14:23 Send device info to Essentials: Call Essentials DeviceListService command=addDevices, Essentials host= port= aniName=ANIServer4.1-DBPC3
2003/02/24 09:14:23 ERROR: Send addDevices to Essentials. Exception=java.lang.NumberFormatException:
Has anybody encountered this before ?
thanks
Colin

Is Discovery running at the time you were doing the Sync?. Try again when the discovery is not running. In the Host Name field, type in the ip address of the CW2K server, port = 1741 (default), RME Admin UserId= admin and password = admin password (default = admin) and click on Apply to save changes. Then see if you get the same error or else.

I happened to run across this last week.
I was getting the exact message when trying to export from ANI to Essentials.
Try the following username/password
cwsiSA/cwsiPWD
I found this info when viewing one of the configuration files while troubleshooting this problem, I assume this is the default username and password that is used by the Essentials database since I didn't choose to change any default usernames or passwords.
