I am running CW2K with RME 3.5.
I would like the ability to define "editable" configuration templates for NOC staff to rollout into production.
An example:
vlan <insert vlan number here>
name <insert vlan name here>
The NOC staff would then simply pick this template and edit anything enclosed in <>'s.
I tried doing this by creating a user-defined template and assigning it to the relevant NOC users. However, I have now found that it is impossible to edit user-defined templates.
Is there any way that I can create new system-defined templates with fields that can be populated? Or am I simply doing something wrong with the user-defined ones?
I also know that the adhoc template can be used, but this kinda defeats the purpose.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
