Debug priority

Hi,

I have cisco router 1720 connected back to back with a cisco router 2610 through ppp.

I configured priority queueing on these routers in order to alocate traffic coming from one specific ip to another, to the high queue.

When I issued the debug priority command and generated the desired high priority traffic, I didn't get from the debug command anything stating that high traffic is being queued. I also generated low priority traffic but still nothing in the output of the debug concerning that low traffic.

what can be the problem?

Priority queuing only kicks in once there is contention on the interface; at that point the high priority traffic will get preference, and you should then see some debug. So make sure that you have enough data to introduce contention.
