Default Gateway problem in Catalyst 6509

Hi all,

I have a problem with a Catalyst 6509. It has the CatOS 6.3.5 and two default-gateways configured. I have tried to configure one of them as primary but it does not appear in the config.

Furthermore the following messages appear repeatedly although neither one default-gateway nor the other have had problems...

2004 Oct 25 10:48:25 %SYS-5-RTE_DEFGATEFROM:Default Gateway switching from 10.16.0.1

2004 Oct 25 10:48:25 %SYS-5-RTE_DEFGATETO:Default Gateway switching to 10.16.0.11

Has anyone found something similar? Maybe a bug if the CatOS?

There was a bug for this in CAT OS(first found in 5k but affects all CAT OS)

But it should be fixed in the code you are running. I suggest that you open a TAC service request so that the engineer can contact development engineers on this.
