DefaultDNS missing from IPM V2.4 on Windows 2000

I have IPM V2.4 installed on a Windows 2000 Server and have just started using this.

I have found that the defaultDNS operation is absent from the list of system predefined operations. Does anyone know why this is so ?

Also I'm having problems using my own HTTP definitions with urls. IPM returns a Data Response Error. I beleive this is something to do resolution and is probably related to the reason why I have no defaultDNS.

Can any help please ?

Thanks.

For your http problem, have you defined your dns server in your router config?

ip name-server w.x.y.z

Steve,

Thanks for the reply. I didn't have the dns server in my router config. Once added it worked a treat.

Thanks,
