Deferred counter on cat2950 - 3620 Ethernet

Hi,

I have a cat2950 conected to a 3620 using an Ethernet port. The ports at both ends are configured at 10 Full-duplex. Checking the sh int fa0/1 on the switch the deferred counter keeps incrementing. As I understand it this is part of normal behaviour of half-duplex ethernet, but both ends being forced at 10 full should eliminate all collisions, deferred etc. Of 1.4 Million packets sent on the interface 260.000 are deferred and this is not normal behaviour.

How can I solve this issue?

You need to change to 10 Half. Hope the following link helps...
