I need to determine which simm slots are occupied in a 3640 remotely without opening the case. Is there any command for this? If it's show tech, which part? I can see the total installed amount, but can't determine if all 4 slots are occupied or only one or two. All routers have 64MB dram.

in your sh ver there will be a line like this
DRAM configuration is 64 bits wide with parity disabled.
It depends on if you have 32 or 64 bit wide memory .
If you have 64 bit then the options for 64MB of RAM are
4 X 16
2 X 32
If you have 32 bit wide the options are
4 X 16
that is the best it can be narrowed down without opening the box

Thanks, that's more than I got from TAC! I have 64b so I'm still guessing.

Or else, you could try this!
