DFM 1.2 - Need IP Polling only, No SNMP

Hello,

I need DFM to IP poll only a selected number of devices, these are Cisco routers but the DFM system has no SNMP access to them. What I am trying to do is have DFM 'ping' the devices every four minutes to verify that they are reachable, if not raise an Exception.

Any help would be appreciated.

In order to add the device, you still need to have the SNMP RO configured on the device, therefore SNMP connectivity is still needed in oder to add the device in DFM. Though later, you can disable the AnalysisMode setting for that type of polling. For example, to poll ports and interfaces for performance but not for connectivity etc.
