dhcp database error

Hey all,

I'm configuring dhcp on Catalyst 3750. I followed the guide, but I encountered a problem when I configure the dhcp dabase agent:

I wrote this:

IP dhcp database ftp://10.0.0.22 write-delay 120

Then, I show the database using the following command:

sh ip dhcp database

The system shows the operation failed:

staus: Last write failed because of a protocol error.

I can use ftp command manually by copy the running-config to the destinate ftp site.

How can I solve this?

Hi

i tried the same command syntax in one of my 3750 , it took the same and the o/p is something like this ..

s01#sh ip dhcp database

Read : Never

Written : Never

Status : Nothing to report.

Delay : 120 seconds

Timeout : 300 seconds

Failures : 0

Successes: 0

btw which ios code ur running in your box ??

self running 12.2(20)SE3 in my boxes..

my version is 12.2(25)SEB1

I think you should wait for while to sh the dhcp database again, because your dhcp server haven't sent the data to the remote ftp site.
