Hi,
We have problem to establish analog callback using Win XP. When the AS (Cisco 3640) callback I see on my laptop that effectively the call is coming back...but suddendly the calll is hunged up by teh AS or the client
If we test this with Windows 2000 is working fine.
Somebody has already experienced this problem ????
BTW we've IOS 12.1T and 12.2T...

I don't know of any problems relevant to XP. You should enable msec timestamps, and collect "debug modem", "debug callback", "debug ppp neg", and "debug ppp cbcp" for the good and the bad situation, and then compare the debugs to see what is different, or if the failed case has more delay's than the successfule case.

... the problem is that the callback is starting in a correct way from the AS to the client but suddendly one of the two parts hung up....with Win2K all is working correctly...
A news that I've received is that with XP and a non Cisco AS is working fine...
I think that the only way is to debug it and compare it
