Hi, i´m trying to configure a dialer pool using a bri interface and a serial asyn with modem interface in it. The bri and ser int accept the dial pool 1 command, but when i use the sh dialer interface dialer 1 command i can only see the ser interface as belonging to dialer pool 1, and the dialer interface never use the bri inter, even when there is an error trying to use the ser inter.
Is that posible?, can i put bri and ser interfaces in the same dialer pool and make the dialer interface to use both?.
Thanks,

You should be able to place different interface types into the same dialer pool. However, by
default one will always have precedense. You could try the following, to try and understand
what is wrong.
- place only the BRI in the pool, to see if dialing successfully occurs.
- give the BRI a higher priority than the serial; it should then be used first.
Always refer to "debug dialer" when trying to figure out what is wrong; hopefully it
will give you enough info to determine the problem.
