Do I need to shut down Cat 4000 switch to install redundant AC power?

Hi,there,

I need to install a redundant 400W AC power supply to Cat4003(Currently it's up and running with only one power supply).Do I need shut down the switch to do so or can I just install the 2nd power while the first power is on?

Hi,

Power supplies are hot swappable, so you can certainly insert the second power supply without powering down the switch.
