Do the AS5400 and AS5350 have interchangeable modules(feature cards)?

Hi Can someone tell me if the AS5400 and AS5350 have interchangeable modules?

The AS5400 modules are named AS54-DFC-xxxx and the AS5350 modules are named AS535-DFC-xxxx but they look identical, and many manuals/pages describe them together, however I have not seen anything conclusive. Specifically will a AS54-DFC-2CE1 work in a AS5350?

As i understand it the modules are set as E1 or T1 in the factory. You can't switch between in software?

As this is way past EOL some of the info is missing. Linked is the "Cisco AS5350XM and Cisco AS5400XM Universal Gateways Card Installation Guide" manual. Couldn't find the non-XM version on archive. It's for a lab setup BTW.
