Edit Preferences page under Job Approval in Ciscoworks can't display

I can access to the Ciscoworks server and most of the pages under the drawers. However, when click on this RME>Administration>Job Approval>Edit Preferences, nothing is display. I also see an error message at the bottom of the browser : Applet com.cisco.nm.cmf.ui.wizard.CrmApplet cann't start:ERROR.

Try doing a stop/start of the server. Also if you're use IEm try Netscape instead to see if you get the same error.

I stop and start the system under process management. Now, when I click on it, I see a dialog window shows : invalid database client. What does this mean ?

Somebody else solved it in the pages:

"You might see this problem, if you are using Netscape as your browser.

This particular screen doesnt come up in the java plugin but comes up

in the browser jvm.

There is a known problem with netscape, for this behavior.

This is due to VisiBroker 2.5, which is shipped with Netscape 4.x by default.

VisiBroker 2.5 classes are not compatible with VisiBroker 4.1 classes shipped with CiscoWorks2000

The workaround is to :

Delete the file iiop10.jar from the Netscape 4.x installation. This file is

located at Netscape Install Directory\Program\java\classes. "
