EIGRP D EX routes

Hi,

I am facing a unique problem with EIGRP.

I am running IOS 12.3.9b in cisco 7200 router. This router acts as a aggregation routers.

On this router, when I check routing table, I am getting a EIGRP redistributed route for the directly connected network.

Eg.

D EX 192.168.1.1/32

This perticular route I am getting from the other end router. There is no redistribution configured in EIGRP on all these routers. Also there is no other dynamic routing protocols other than EIGRP.

Can anyone throw some tip on how to resolve this problem.

Sounds like a bug to me. Have you tried another IOS?

Yes, I tried upgrading the IOS to 12.3.9b.

Earlier I was getting this route only for 3 interface.

After the upgrade I am getting in all the directly connected serial interface.

Is the route you posted a host route to a PPP connection?

try configuring "no peer neighbor-route" under the serial interface.
