I have a issue when a endpoints get ip address from Switch 9200 and router 1921 their Dns record A and PTR doesn´t update, they keep old record and IP.
Someone have configuring "Dynamic DNS Updates by a DHCP Server" in cisco swtich/router?
I want' to know if It's posible.
Thank you so much
- Support for DDNS on cisco models seems limited , check attachment as that info was received from https://cfnng.cisco.com/browse/routing/features , if available check these info's : https://www.firewall.cx/cisco-technical-knowledgebase/cisco-routers/811-cisco-router-ddns.html and https://blog.router-switch.com/2013/03/how-to-configure-dynamic-dns-on-a-cisco-router/
the only command I know of is the one below (in DHCP pool configuration mode), not sure if enabling that makes a difference:
Router(dhcp-config)#update dns both
