We want to connect several Cat6509 with Sup1A and native IOS through two Gigabitethernet. We are configuring the different types of etherchannel: ON/LACP/PAGP. We would like to know what benefits we have with each type. What do you recommend? We doubt which type to use.

Hello,
PAgP is Cisco proprietary, LACP is open standard (IEEE 302.3ad).
If you have control of both ends of the channel, and if your design assures that the interfaces will not be used for anything else, I would set the mode to on (which disables PAgP and LACP) on both sides, since there is no need for any channel negotitation.
