I works at shanghai telecom and In recently the Metro mpls backbone need to be optimized. I have
learned that cisco ispf feature can be implemented with other speciality and lead to reduce converge time by less than 1 sec. And I just find one ietf draft with ospf term that describe it.
Is there some standard to support Incremental spf and its stability in isp metro backbone? Is the 1 sec convergence time can attain in most ospf area conditions?(for example 300 ios ispf enabled GSRs with thousands of prefixes?)
