This sentence is from Cisco documentation.

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios121/121cgcr/switch_c/xcprt1/xcdipsp.htm

"Fast switching allows outgoing packets to be load balanced on a per-destination basis." Can anyone explain me what it mean? load balanced on a per-destination basis? and what does load balanced here mean? Please also give me an example.

Thanks,

Stand

Thant's to say that the traffic or packets destinated to the same destination will always path through the same path or router, and the traffic of packets to different destinations will be load balance among the paths or routers
