They are NOT SC connectors on the WS-X5236-FX-MT . They are MT-RJ connectors. The MT-RJ connector is the small fiber connector (looks similar to a RJ-45).
The actual description for that module is:
24-port 100FX Switch Module (FEC,WRED,802.1Q/ISL,MT-RJ)
