We are running IPCC Prem 4.0(4)SP1 & it is normal when failing over to the standby server that the agents need to re-login.Hope this helps.

I don't believe this will work for you. I would connect the modem to the router AUX port instead. You can connect the modem with a console cable and a db25 converter for modem connections (sorry I don't have part #'s for you). The cable you describe...

Did you check your spanning tree configuration? Sounds like there could be some issues.Can you post the config's for these switches?JK
