Filtering UDP traffic on a Catalyst 5000

Is there a way to filter UDP traffic on a catalyst 5000 with CAT OS 2.4? I am seeing alot of UDP traffic being generated from workstations that are connnected to CAT 1924's wich are downstream from the CAT 5ks. The Cat 5ks are the core with the servers and routers connected there.

The only way to filter layer3 or layer4 information on a C5000 is if you have an RSM. Otherwise you can only do port security but that only looks at the MAC address so that won't accomplish what you're trying to do.

If you do have an RSM, you could filter the UDP traffic using ACLs. Here's a link on understanding how ACLS work:
