Hello.
I have a little question about Gigastack GBIC.
It is not clear for me how catalysts form Stack with
this GBIC's.
From documentation I can find only possible connection
options. And no worlds about additional configuration
on catalysts and algorithm which describe how they form Stack without additional configuration. Just connect and everything work :).
Can anyone hit me regarding this ?
Thanks.

Hello,
not sure which documentation you have found so far, but have a look at the document below. Basically, the Gigastack GBIC supports half-duplex mode only, in a cascaded configuration.

Hello,
Thak you for reply.
Yes I saw this link. But cascaded configuration this is
just connection option. The question is :
Do we must some how configure catalyst ? Or they form
Stack dynamically. If yes so :
How they select master of the Stack ?
How I can manipulate the selection process ?

Hi,
Stack is formed dynamically as suggested by GP. What else you want to configure ??
I think you are looking fro switch clustering. Please check the following link and see if that's what you are looking for .
