high cpu after migration to mst

Hi,

today we migrated the core/distribution of our network to MST/RST.

So far everything is running quite smoothly but on our Catalyst2948G-L2 we're experiencing quite a high cpu usage from the switching overhead process. (about 50% to 60% compared to a total cpu usage of 9% with pvst+)

I assume this is due a large number of pvst+ boundary ports.

Anybody any experience with a high cpu after migrating to mst?

(I know that a high cpu has not a direct impact on the performance of the switch)

We're running 8.1.2
