It´s possible use the feature highavailability in Catalyst 6509 with dual SUP2(CatOS 8.1)/MSFC2(IOS 12,1(19)E1) and the feature vmps ?
The Catalyst 6509 is only the primary vmps server.
Don´t set any port in Catalyst 6509 witch dynamic mode.

Dynamic VLAN is not compatible with HA. It will not let you configure it
