how to connect GLC-LH-SMD sfp to cisco nexus n55-d160l3

Hi,

i am trying to connect cisco sfp GLC-LH-SMD to cisco nexus n55 series switch. but it was showing spf validation failed and after changing the switch port speed to 1000 the port came UP but the link was not active and reason shows none.

and tried changing the switch port type to fc fiber channel. still the link was not active

kindly guide me how can i configure fiber sfp with cisco nexus series switch

is this cisco SFP ?

what is the Logs show when you insert SFP to port ?

if this is 10GB ports, worth remove the SFP, make speed 1000 and try to insert and test ?

yes these are cisco 1g sfps

the second screenshot is interface status after changing the slot to fiber channel.
