How to Maintain all ISDN channels as up

Hi everyone,

I need to configure an ISDN router to (if in the event of a link failure), bring up its ISDN 30 and then keep all channels up indefinately, even if there is no traffic on any of the channels.

Could anyone tell me how I would do this?

Many thanks in advance,

Daniel,

Dialer watch configuration will serve the purpose. With dialer watch the backup link(s) will come up as soon as the primary link is down (irrespective of whether it has interesting traffic or not) & will remain nailed up until the primary link is back up (again irrespective of interesting traffic). Once the primary link is up only then will interesting traffic & idle-timeout come into play to tear down the redundant backup link(s).
