How to recover TinyROM enable password on 803

All,

I recently aquired a Cisco 803 series router for my lab. Unfortunately this thing seems to have a TinyROM password on it - and the only image in flash has been marked as Deleted (and I don't have the password to undelete it...)

I read somewhere that this means I have to log a TAC case. Given that I am not the original owner of the router, is this sort of thing possible?

Failing that, is anybody aware of the workaround?

Thanks

You can follow these steps given below for solving out the problem.

boot>

boot>

boot> enable debug (press return)

password:em gubed (press return) Password will not be displayed

boot [DANGER] passwd (press return)

new:(enter new password, or press return for no password)

again:(enter new password, or press return for no password)

boot [DANGER] enable (press return)

boot# save (press return) (This will save the change to NV ram)

save: succeeded (0 seconds).

boot#

boot#

This solved the problem :)

Thanks!
