Hello,
Has anyone had any problems inline powering an Aironet 350 bridge from a Cat3550 (24 port). ?
The bridge has been up and working for ages with a 3com hub and an inline power adapter on the cat5. We installed the new switch today, took away the adapter but the bridge keeps reloading itself. It almost comes back online but at the last second you hear a click from the bridge and it reloads.
Change it back to the inline power adaptor and a none-inline powered hub and it works fine.
Anyone got any ideas ??, can you use both a inline switch and the power adaptor at the same time???
Cheers,
Tris

Are you hardcoding speed/duplex? If you are, try autonegotiating and let me know if it makes any difference. We had some issues with hardcoding with 1200 series

Hi,
No, as far as i can remember its set to auto. We recently upgraded it to Ver 12 firmware and are currently trying to set the bridge up for .1q trunking.
I will try and set the dup / speed manualy and see if this helps.
Cheers
