Interconnecting Cisco Catalyst 4500 and HP Procurve 5308XL

Hi,

Can anyone help me configure aggregated trunks between 2 C4500 Sup11+ and 2 HPProcurve 5308XL's? This is part of a migration project from HP LAN Switching to Cisco, where I have to retain and support the HP side for at least 12 months?

Hi,

You have to configure your trunk links bundled with LACP between Cisco switch and the HP switch. Cisco supports both PAGP and LACP. PAGP is Cisco proprietry and works only between Cisco switches.
