I keep getting traps from two of my switches that indicate interface 1 or sc0 is down, but I cannot figure out why. The other local switches do not have this problem.
The trap messages are seen on the switch if traps are enabled on the switch. Use the show snmp command to check if traps are enabled. For more details on the traps supported by the swithes and how to configure them refer the following document.
