Does it support OSPF?
I tried to configure, I enable it by doing ip routing. Then routing ospf 1842. It takes it but it does not configure it, it does not go into the subline nor it appears in the startup config file.
Any comments would help.

Nope, IP Base support only static routing and RIP, I think. For full dynamic routing protocol support you need the EMI or the IP Services Feature set.
