IP Distributed CEF switching not showing on the interfaces

Hi,

IP Distributed CEF switching enabled, not showing on the interfaces.

We have a couple of 6509 at our site and they´re almost identical when it comes to

hardware/software and cards.

We don´t have any problems with them but we´ve notice one "feature" that we don´t

understand.

Below is two 6509. The only thing that is different is one of the linecards.See below #sh modules

If looking with #sh fabric switching-mode, everything seem to be loooking ok with both of them,

when it comes to Distributed CEF.

But if we look at the interfaces, No2 doesn´t say anything about IP Distributed CEF switching

enabled.

Does anyone have any idea why?

Check your configuration,

Enable dCEF with the following command:

router(config)# ip cef distributed

Ensure the Frame Relay interface is enabled for distributed switching.

router(config-if)# interface serial 8/0/0

router(config-if)# ip route-cache distributed

router# show ip interface serial 8/0/0
