Hi all,
I have bumped into a strange issue and on a C1116-4P router running IOS XE Fuji 16.9.1.
While ip http secure-server was configured and working, after a router reload it never went up.
Show ip http server status command always shows the secure server disabled. I have tried to turn off and turn on the service with no luck. I have upgraded IOS to 16.9.2 but again no luck.
HTTP secure server status: dissabled
HTTP secure server port: 443
Plain http authentication works but secure never.
We have regenerated RSA keys but still "https" in web browser never works.
ip authentication local and local user names do exist in the running configuration so these are not the issue.
It seems just that the IOS XE Fuji has some bugs and these models are quite new to have a list of well know problems documented.
Any thought or recommendation is welcomed. Meanwhile i will contact TAC to see what they will say about this really strange issue.
