IPX and HSRP on Cat6500

Hi,

I've used HSRP on many devices with IP, but I need to route IPX now with HSRP. Does anyone have a good example of it, as the docs are lacking. Do you configure 3 network addresses; one for each interface then a virtual?

Any help would be great, thanks in advance,

Unfortunatley HSRP only works with IP, it will not work for IPX.

Thanks, I understand that part, but I am assuming there is no issue with the same IPX address on both interfaces that are also participating in HSRP.

Is this correct?

it actually has to be, an ipx interfaces on the same network have to have the same ipx number,
