Although I have used cisco device for a while, something I am not clear. Does anybody know the serial ports on routers is full duplex or half duplex? I think is half duplex, but I am not sure. Am I right? Thank You!
but suppose the lease line is 64k so is the 64k is one way speed (so full duplex rate is 128k) of 64k is full duplex rate (max transmit rate + max receive rate is 64k)?
Yes, 64k is one way speed. In my company, we use the 256K leased line and I can found both the input rate and the output rate can reach 256K at the same time.
