My telco provider states they will supply the PRIs on a Lucent 5ESS "custom" switch, but all the Cisco docs refer to "global isdn switch-type = primary-5ess" as a "basic" switch. My telco says the difference lies in the protocol config on their ISDN switch. Are there any known issues with an AT&T 5ESS "custom" config vs. the AS5400's "primary-5ess" config? Is there anything I (or my telco) needs to know? Are there any bugs or compatibility problems [AS5400 was shipped with 12.2(12a) IOS] that I should be aware of?
