How does ISE tie in to the Unified Access architecture?
01-30-2013 12:18 AM
ISE is the Cisco Identity Service Engine. ISE is core to the UA solution, it is the One Policy in UA's One Policy, One Management, One Network. ISE provides context-aware secure access policy on the who, what, where, how, when--across wired, wireless and remote networks. With rigorous identification it applies granular control and based on this contextual identity it sends secure access rules throughot the network for consistent enforcement across all networks.
Sorry for the delay -- @ CiscoLive London.

This event had very little to do with the big issues associated with BYOD. It was a 3850 announcement. Very deceptive labeling.
