Lan and Routing Question

At present we are using Intel Switches Intel Express 550T to connect between 2 buildings. VLANs have been created but they only support 100MB. I have been looking to replace them with Cisco Switches but unable to obtain any sufficient info on the Catalyst Switches. Our WAN has been replaced from Leased Lines to Frame Relay network, so I now need the Intel Router and HUBS replaced with preferably Cisco Catalyst Switches, also connecting the 2 buildings with 1GB.

The number of users in each building is approx 200 and currently on different VLANs. Can someone advice as to which model Catalyst switch can be used to connect the 2 buildings which will support OSPF and also the user community?

Many thanks in advance

You can use a Catalyst 6500 with MSFC2 for top performance or you can go one step lower with Cat4006 with 4232-l3 module. It all depends on what performance you need. check with your local cisco offices for help with selecting an appropriate product for your budget and performance needs.
