Load Balance 4 WAN link using EIGRP

Hi,

I would like to know how to fine tune the k value to load balance 4 equal cost path. How should I calculate the k value in term of load?

You dont really need to adjust the k value to do load balancing using EIGRP. All of them are of same bandwidth or different bandwidth. EIGRP supports both equal and unequal cost load balancing.

The original question asked about load balancing over 4 equal cost paths. Sankar is quite right that you do not have to do anything to load balance over 4 equal cost paths since EIGRP will authomatically load balance over 4 equal cost paths.

The question goes on to ask about tuning the K value to account for Load. The default calculation of metric for EIGRP does not use load. There is a good reason for that: trying to account for load in selecting routes is frequently counter productive. The advice from Cisco is to not try to use load as a factor in selecting routes. This is good advice. You will do the best to let EIGRP use the default calculation.
