LRE over electrical network

Hi,

I have browsed through all the other topics but didn't find the right one that deals with LRE. Does anybody know whether the LRE technology could be used over the existing electrical network (220V, 50Hz)? The distance that should be bridged is about 400m, the bandwith is not important.

I think that Cisco's LRE solution supports this. The only drawback is that the higher the current the more noise will be on the line. You may want to contact your local sales representative to get a concrete answer.
