I am having a problem with throughput on an LRE 2950. The profiles are set to 4-1 which should be usuable for any SNR above 15. The SNR on all the links is running at about 32-35. There are many RS errors. The cabling is new CAT 3 in a telco bundle. Their are approximately 5 patch panels from end to end. We are using the CPE 575 for the remote.
As I see the documentation, the 4-1 profile should be able to extend to 4900 feet in idea situation. We would also need to subtract 30% of the distance because of the telco bundle and 300 feet per patch panel, which takes us down to around 1900 ft at the max. The distance is near this limit. We are only seeing about 30K throughput at most. It appears to me that there is either a lot of interference in the bundle or there are some issues I have overlooked.
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
