Mac add of blade server not learned in cisco

Dear Members,

I had one typical problem. We have IBM blade center HT chassis. 

Four blade servers are used form this chassis, connected to BNT switches and in turn BNT switches are connected to cisco 4948 switches. 

I am unable to ping default gateway (HSRP IP in cisco) from blade server.

Able to ping this IP form BNT switch. Server mac address learnt in BNT but not in cisco

configurations are ok in both switches

possibly you have the cisco switch connected to BOTH bnt switches?

Then maybe you have the BNT switches configured as port-aggregation and the cisco switch not or not correctly.

look at the spanning-tree on the cisco to see if a port is "blocked".

how does it behave when only a single bnt switch is connected?
