Many device type is unknown in Layer2 View of Campus Manager,why?

at the same time their colors are red,but I can reach most of them by ping,why?how to resolve this problem?Thanks!

If you can reach the device thru a ping. Then Open the Campus Manager, try to right-click the device then select "Rediscover Device". This should do the trick.

For unknown devices, check if you have added the device package. Or the device may not be supported at all.
