Maximum IPX hosts per VLAN

Does anybody know for certain what is the recommended maximum number of IPX hosts per VLAN and where the official documentaion exists eg. an RFC

Cisco Press's book "Top Down Network Design", page 103, has a table which recommends a maximum of 300 workstations in a broadcast domain (VLAN) if NetWare (IPX) only. That number drops down to 200 if there's a mix of protocols: for example, IPX and IP, or IPX and AppleTalk, or IPX and IP and AppleTalk, etc.

Not sure if this information is located elsewhere on Cisco's web site.
