modem call-record terse command

Hi,

we have NASes AS5300 running IOS 12.1(14). We want to activate "modem call-record terse" command in these NASes and we would like to know if this could be dangerous or problematic.

Is there any other command similar to this?. Is this the correct command to send to syslog all the modem events and verify the features of a disconnection?.

The NASes have 40% CPU utilization right now.

Thank you very much.

It should not be dangerous at all, especially if you log the info instead of sending it to the console or VTY port.

The only other comparable feature is Call Tracker; this would be for more detailed troublehshooting and data collection, but may be worth a try, too (you would need 12.1T or 12.2).
