Monitoring not working in IDS MC

I have just installed and configured a new 4235 Sensor, Logging and email seems to be working fine however when i go into the MC Secority Monitor and go to events nothing is happening. I have all signatures by default running ( i guess )

I upgraded my system signature list to 4.1(1)S103 and my sensor is running 4.1(1)s47 or something like it.

Mt SPAN port on my 6509 is only listening.

What am i missing to do, or what i should i check to see if i have configured it properly.

Any help would be great.

You may want to check out the monitor interface and make sure its up on the IDS. You can sho int and if you see the sensing interface down you can go into the config t and bring it back up pretty much like a router.
